Suzanne L Burn


Suzanne Louise Burn (she/her) graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from The Open University. She is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing (also with The Open University) and is pleased to have passed her first module towards that, with a merit.


She has had poetry and life writing published in previous editions of Makarelle, together with six Open University Write Club anthologies for charities: ‘Generations’, Footprints and Echoes’, ‘The Gift’, ‘2020 Together’, ‘2021 Still Together’, and ‘Where’s the Manual? And Other Thoughts on Parenthood’
She draws inspiration from nature and realism for her poetry and fiction, and hopes to set up a writing blog as part of her Masters study in autumn 2022.
